The Greenhills Centre provides live-in facilities for group training and leadership. It is located 7km from Mt Stromlo and just 15 minutes by road from the heart Canberra. The Cotter Centre which will be the main Contemporaray Craft Retreat meeting, teaching and accommodation area, was destroyed in the Canberra Bushfires in January 2003 but was completely rebuilt by 2006.
The Centre offers comfortable, clean, hostel style accommodation. There is full meal service and comprehensive conference facilities for groups. To help reduce costs Greenhill's operates on a self-help basis and guests are required to set their own table space in the dining hall and clean up after each meal.
It is also expected all rooms will be left clean and tidy on departure.
